Choppers Is Putting The Show On The Road this Summer
Since our opening in 2017, Choppers has had the ability to bring axe throwing to you. Putting our brick and mortar location ahead of everything else did not always allow us the time required to make mobile axe throwing a focus of ours. This summer, we are changing that up!
We have an entire calendar of events already lined up and are adding more every day! Some of our early dates include an old favorite, The AC Beer and Music Festival. There are 3 sessions this year. April 3rd and 4th. If you have never been, we highly suggest you do it. Not even for our mobile axe throwing, just in general. Jon Henderson and the Good Time Tricycle team put on an amazing beer fest that is not to be missed!
Our Brewery Tour-nament
We are excited to announce a brewery tour we have set up where we will have 6 stops on the tour at some of the the South Jersey area’s finest breweries. There will be an exhibition event at Neshaminy Creek THIS MONTH on Sunday Feb 23rd.
Friday evenings from 5 – 9pm is when the festivities will be each week. The six stops for our Brewery Tour begin on May 22 at Bout the Hops which is a brand new Brewery down the street in Mt Laurel NJ. June 5th we are heading to Merchantville NJ to hold an evening with Eclipse Brewing. The following week on June 12th we will be with our good friends over at Double Nickle in Pennsauken NJ.
June 19th we are heading across the river, back to Neshaminy Creek Brewing. Right before the celebration of Independence Day, July 3rd we will be at Broken Goblet in Bensalem PA. Our final stop on the tour brings us closer to home. On July 10th the final stop will be at Flying Fish in Somerdale NJ.
Although our mobile axe throwing brewery tour is mainly on the road, we are holding the Grand Finale where is all began, back in Cherry Hill at Choppers. This date will be a combination Beer Festival and Axe Throwing Tournament. A Champion of Champions will be crowned! Although anyone is able to enter, it is free to those who have made every date of the tour.
Pre-Sale Tour passes will be available at a cost of $100 which cover entry to each tournament. Simply buying the pass does not give free entry for the Final Tournament at Choppers, you will still need to compete in each tournament along the tour. you can purchase yours HERE.
Other Places You Can Find Our Mobile Set-ups This Summer
You more than likely won’t be allowed here, but Choppers is the official Backstage Entertainment for Live Nation’s 2020 Concert Touring season. We will be backstage at all shows allowing the bands and tours an opportunity to throw axes. We are really excited and honored to be awarded this opportunity. If we are allowed any photographs, we will be sure to share them with everyone.
Rancocas Woods holds weekly outdoor events downtown. We won’t be at ALL of these events, but we will be part of a good number of them. A future list of dates you can find us will be added to our Facebook events. Some of them are the St Paddy’s Day Beer Garden and The Kid’s Fleamarket on May 9th. We will also be at the BBQ & Beer Festival on June 13th as well as the Hillbilly Chilli Cook-off on November 14th.
